Our Motto

To captivate our community with the character of Christ through compassionate CARE.

Our Vision

To be a model community of churches and neighbors who bring moments of joy, honor, help and hope to widows, the aging and their caregivers through personally providing CARE for those God puts in their path each day.

Our Core Values
Attitude of HONOR Be a BLESSING >Culture of CREATIVITY and CELEBRATION

Koinonia Senior Care (KSC) was birthed in response to our personal caregiving experiences and the growing need we see for fellowship, respite, and non-medical assistance provided from a distinctively Christian perspective. We have witnessed the powerful impact of home visits, phone calls, and mail from church members, letting the senior know they are valued, thought of, and prayed for. We have witnessed the willingness of congregations and neighbors to use their talents and availability to help out the elderly with small home/yard projects, check-ins, or errands. And sadly we have seen lonely seniors who live as though they have no purpose and no friends. Some home-bound have been forgotten by their church and receive very little spiritual encouragement. Some have no church. Others are primary caregivers with very little time away from their loved one. Care giving is taking its toll on them. They need respite, time away, encouragement, and to know their role has significance. There are also new widows who are grieving and need a helping hand, a call, a note or a hug that says, “I care.”

Statement of Faith

We believe in the resurrected Christ

Janet is the best. Not only is she a great web designer, but she is always just a message away when I have a question about the website. She is always kind, professional and a pleasure to work with.
